Your new role

As a Level 3 Technical Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for all things Azure. Your day-to-day will include:
* Supporting and maintaining a secure, scalable Azure environment.
* Troubleshooting incidents and resolving service requests.
* Monitoring platform health using Azure-native tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Centre.
* Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
* Enforcing Azure policies and governance standards.
* Collaborating with Cybersecurity on access reviews and RBAC.
* Documenting procedures, scripts, and architectural patterns.
* Advising project teams on infrastructure changes and new deployments.
* Maintaining hybrid connectivity (e.g., ExpressRoute, VPN, AD Connect).
* Supporting disaster recovery and backup configurations.
* Participating in cost optimisation and compliance reporting.
* Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues escalated from L2 support.
* Mentoring junior support staff and contributing to continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure operations and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in observability tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
* Clear communication skills to work with stakeholders across ICT, Finance, Security, and Application teams.
* Documentation skills to support knowledge-sharing and audit readiness.
* Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum of NV1 security clearance. Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
* Location: Canberra, ACT -based candidates only, due to the collaborative and interactive nature of the role.
