Technical Support Specialist
In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical systems on naval vessels, test sites and facilities.
This position requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to operating systems, drivers, applications, LANs, WANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi and other network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and communications engineering, with experience in circuit analysis, wiring fault finding and troubleshooting industrial computing bus systems.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results and support the ongoing development of our products.
Key Requirements:
* Certificate III in Electronics and Communications Engineering (or equivalent qualifications) is highly desirable.
* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the defence industry or maritime environment, preferably with a focus on technical support and maintenance.
* Proven track record of successfully diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, with a strong understanding of PC and industrial computing bus systems (cPCI, VME).
