DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes Ability to contribute to menu planning Immaculate presentation and grooming Ability to handle large service numbers Exceptional customer care and service skills and knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS Excellent supportive and leadership skill set Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed Immaculate presentation and grooming Should be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions KEY QUALITIES A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position Be flexible with working hours A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour The team at Catering HQ work hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for all, and most importantly, we're all about creating a more sociable future – for our customers and for each other.
