The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is Australia's national criminal intelligence agency. We advise senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. We are a full member of the National Intelligence Community, an Attorney General's Portfolio agency, and a member of the Five Eyes Law Enforcement Group.
The ACIC is at the forefront of tackling serious and organised crime targeting Australia, both within our borders and offshore. Our staff operate against a pervasive, transnational and globalised criminal threat, and work hard to realise an Australia hostile to criminal exploitation. As a small agency that makes a real impact on serious and organised crime, we need talented and dedicated people who are intelligent, highly capable and seeking to make a difference to the lives of all Australians.

The Executive Branch has a key role shaping policy and strategy for the agency. It has a high level of engagement with the agency's external stakeholders across the private and public sectors including with Australian, state, territory and international government agencies.
The branch provides ministerial and board liaison and support, including secretariat, for Board agencies and external governance committees. It coordinates the agency's media response, provides internal and external communication, brand advice and graphic design support and manages online channels including the website, intranet and social media.
It serves as an interface between criminal intelligence collection and analysis and investigations relating to serious and organised crime, information and intelligence sharing for law enforcement and the development of whole-of-government strategies, policies and initiatives. The branch also oversees the agency's external and internal governance frameworks to support performance across the agency, while ensuring that key accountability requirements are met.
