A strong understanding of accounting principles is essential for managing budgets and performing month-end financial tasks. In addition to financial oversight, this position involves managing vendor agreements, licensing deals, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee IT expenditures to ensure they remain within budgetary limits.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendors, fostering strong working relationships.
* Manage technology contracts, including vendor agreements, licensing, and SLAs.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings through resource consolidation and system optimization.
* Maintain accurate records of contractor agreements and SLAs.
* Track key milestones, including renewal and expiration dates, to ensure timely renegotiation.
* Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to resolve contractual issues or disputes.
* Manage invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments with accuracy and compliance.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for potential cost optimization.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 10 years of experience in technology finance, contract management, or a similar role.
* Proven experience in managing OPEX/CAPEX budgets.
* Expertise in telecommunications billing processes and vendor management.
* Strong knowledge of licensing agreements and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems.
* Familiarity with financial software, contract management tools, and telecommunications systems.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
