As a dynamic and engaging **Medical Receptionist**, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our thriving clinic. Your responsibilities will encompass diverse administrative tasks, expertly managing patient appointments, and delivering exceptional customer service that leaves patients and visitors captivated. As the first point of contact for individuals seeking medical care, you will create a warm and organised environment that leaves a lasting impression.

**OUR COMPANY**

The After Hours Clinic in Blackstone is a private billed urgent care facility dedicated to providing comprehensive consultations for a wide range of medical needs. Our expert team specialises in managing acute, non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses that would typically require a visit to the Emergency Department. The After Hours Clinic operates during the following hours:

- Monday to Friday: 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM
- Public Holidays: 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Our extended operating hours ensure that patients have access to quality medical care when their regular healthcare providers may be unavailable.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Patient Scheduling and Appointment Management - be the friendly face and voice that greets and assists patients and visitors, making them feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Front Desk Operations - create an inviting and vibrant reception area, reflecting the warmth and professionalism of our clinic.
- Patient Communication - be the compassionate listener and effective communicator, addressing patient enquiries or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Administrative Support - showcase your exceptional data entry skills, updating patient demographics, medical history, and insurance information with precision and care.
- Team Collaboration - Bring your positive energy and contribute to our collective growth and success.

**SKILLS**
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with medical software (Best Practice).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle patient Enquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
