The Role:
Due to the continual growth of our Facility Management business unit, we are looking for dynamic and self driven people who are meticulous with their work to join Tasmania's most reputable construction company as a full-time Carpenter.
We consistently deliver quality, building and maintenance services to various clients in a diverse range of industry sectors including Insurance, Healthcare, Education and Local State Government. You will be involved in a variety of projects and jobs, ranging from planned and reactive building maintenance and minor project works.
Fully maintained company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, tablet, uniform and monthly RDO.
The individual we are seeking will be able to display the following attributes:
* Commercial building maintenance and fit out experience
* The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team
* An unwavering focus on safety and quality standards
* A willingness to participate in an after-hours on-call roster
* Collaborative team player that is approachable and proactive
* Can do attitude and ability to solve problems which arise in day to day jobs
* A strong customer service ethic and ability to build rapport with stakeholders
* Superior time management and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, both written, verbally, and active listening
To be successful, you will need to display:
* Full working rights in Australia
* Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent (mandatory)
* A current driver's licence
* Construction Industry White Card (mandatory)
* National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
* Working with Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain)
