We're seeking skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to join the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh. The role involves hands-on maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems. You will collaborate with the MRO team, ensure compliance with Part 145 regulations, coordinate with Boeing and customers, support QA procedures, and uphold Environmental Health & Safety standards.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
Ensure compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
Communicate effectively with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
Implement QA procedures, maintenance procedures, and documentation practices.
Maintain a positive attitude towards EHS and prioritize the well-being of all personnel.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures).
Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
Current driver's licence.
Experience working with military aircraft is desirable.
Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence (desirable).
