Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Trade Store Operator- Truck Driver, located in Rockhampton, QLD. The Trade Store Operator- Truck Driver will be responsible for operating the trade store, managing inventory, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role also requires driving trucks to deliver goods to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products, and performing regular vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Qualifications
* Experience in operating a trade store, inventory management, and customer service
* Valid truck driving license and experience in driving trucks for delivery purposes
* Ability to perform regular vehicle maintenance and safety checks
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance procedures
* Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items
* Previous experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus
