Regional Recycle is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team at our crushing plant. This hands-on role is key to ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
As a Loader Operator, you will be operating the sales loader to load finished products onto trucks, push incoming materials, and support the crushing process. You’ll also be involved in general site duties to help keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Operate the sales loader to load road trucks, in office Moxy, and push materials at the tip head.
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products such as rocks and gravel.
- Site Duties: Assist with tasks such as changing screens, minor maintenance, and cleaning the plant.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the site operations manager, weighbridge operators, and team members to ensure efficient and safe site operations.
- Maintenance & Safety: Carry out minor repairs, implement dust suppression, and always follow safety and environmental standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience operating a loader (essential).
- Familiarity with loading bulk materials (e.g. rocks, gravel).
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work effectively within a team to maintain productivity and safety.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience working with crushing plant
- Experience operating a range of plant and equipment, particularly excavators and articulated dump trucks
