The Role
This role is rostered across Tuesday to Saturday with varying shift times. By applying, you're confirming your availability to work across these days. As a Department Supervisor, you will support the store management team by leading your department in providing exceptional customer service to every JD customer. You will be responsible for maintaining merchandising and visual standards and sales results within your department, coaching and developing your team to deliver great in‐store experiences.
* Model exceptional customer service to every customer, every time
* Support and guide the team to deliver exceptional service in a 'service over task' environment
* Actively gain, maintain and share product and brand knowledge for your department
* Support the management team to improve financial performance within your department
* Work with the back‐of‐house team to ensure product availability
* Uphold company standards and deliver store visual excellence
What We're Looking For
* 2‐3 years of experience within retail or a similar industry
* Passion for delivering an amazing service experience for our customers
* Positive attitude and the capacity to create a motivating environment for your team
* Excellent time‐management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in social situations through engagement with customers and team members
