About The Role:

Jury Services coordinate the provision of juries for both the District and Supreme Courts across Western Australia.

Responsibilities:

The Jury Supervisor plays an important role in ensuring the courts jury requirements are met and that jurors are supported and supervised in performing their duty. Some of the required responsibilities include:

* Inducts and addresses large groups of prospective jurors and clarifies their role in terms of established procedures and court protocols.
* Manage juror numbers and Jury Officers to ensure total commitments are met in accordance with the Juries Act 1957.
* Supervises a team of Jury Officers to meet daily trial listing requirements.

Eligibility: To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
