The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP) is seeking an experienced and highly professional Manager, Property and Security who bring their expertise to national leadership role, empower teams and deliver operational excellence in both property and security areas.
The Manager, Property and Security is a key member of the Financial Services Branch. This role works closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders and service providers, to deliver facilities and security related services that support and enable the CDPP to achieve its objectives.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager, Property and Security will lead a geographically diverse team, liaise with stakeholders across the agency to develop and deliver strategic outcomes, including fit for purpose office accommodation and Australian Government security measures, aligned with CDPP workforce planning.
The Financial Services Branch provides policy, reporting and advisory support to the CDPP across all areas of finance, budgeting, procurement, accommodation, security and information and records management.
Services provided include:
* property management;
* relevant security services in accordance with Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework;
* procurement, contracts, financial delegations and approving expenditure;
* payments of accounts payable and receivable, credit cards and staff reimbursement;
* travel management, allowances and payments;
* information and records management;
* policy and guidance including Director's Finance Instructions and financial delegations;
* administration of the Financial Management Information System; and
* financial reporting, budgeting and asset management.
The Property and Security Team work collaboratively to deliver a wide range of facilities and security related services, such as the Agency's multi-location physical Infrastructure function; which includes property management (leases, accommodation policies/strategies, property-related capital works), and the physical security of the Agency's property, people and information.
