Job Title: Yard Tug Driver/MC Driver
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Yard Tug Driver/MC Driver at Cranbourne Depot. We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to keep freight moving with our PM team.
As a Yard Tug Driver/MC Driver, you will be responsible for driving a yard tug to move MC and HC trailers in and out of the depot, planning and monitoring all trailer movements to ensure adherence to the operational schedule, and occasionally performing a transship run to the sister depot in Tullamarine.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of two years of recent experience in the transport industry
* A current MC drivers license
* Previous experience moving trailers around a depot and reversing multiple trailer combinations
* Experience in interstate loading and unloading would be advantageous
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels
* Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and work instructions
* Experience in strapping is highly valued
