Acme 1 Windows & Doors have been supplying and installing aluminum windows and doors for over 20 years. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Glazier to join their team in Golden Square VIC.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine size, shape, colour, type or thickness of glass, location of framing and installing procedures
- Install glass, smoothing rough edges with bed sanders or smoothing wheels and trimming as required
- Ensure excess glass is disposed of safely and all products are inspected for defects or weakness
- Ability to coat, cut, etch, trim and treat glass to achieve special effects
Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within related field
- Ability to work in a team setting
Salary and Application
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 pa commensurate with experience
