Salary Classification: Clerk Grade 9/10

Employment Status: Temporary full time, 35 hours per week, until the end of October 2026.

Salary: $129,464 - $142,665 p.a. base salary. Superannuation and annual leave loading are paid in addition to the base salary.

Location: Our primary place of work is the CSO Office located at 60-70 Elizabeth Street.

Please note we will be relocating to an exciting new premises located at Parkline Place, 252 Pitt Street, Sydney in July 2026.

About the Role

The Crown Solicitor's Office (CSO) is recruiting for a temporary People & Culture Partner to join the People & Culture team to help drive performance, engagement and transformation across the Office.

In this role, you'll work side-by-side with legal and corporate leaders to deliver people solutions across the entire employee lifecycle. You will also support workforce planning activities, including resourcing, workforce insights and capability uplift.

As a trusted partner, you'll support the timely resolution of employee relations matters, champion capability development, and embed a culture of inclusion, excellence, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will help shape a resilient, future-ready workforce that supports the delivery of high-quality legal services to NSW Government and its agencies.

* You are a current HR partner with demonstrated experience collaborating with leaders to deliver effective workforce and organisational solutions.
* You have experience working in a professional services environment, with the capability to support high-performing teams and manage sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism.
* You possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive positive outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
* You foster an inclusive and respectful workplace culture, valuing diverse perspectives and creating opportunities for all employees to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
* You are collaborative and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.

Essential Requirements:

* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related field, or equivalent experience in a comparable role.
