About the Role
As a senior Registered Nurse in our Cardiothoracic ICU, you will:
- Provide advanced, patient-focused care to critically ill and post-operative patients
- Coordinate and delegate shift activities, ensuring safe, timely patient flow
- Oversee the Quality & Risk portfolio and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and support the Nurse Unit Manager in operational decision-making
About You
- AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience (Cardiothoracic background desirable)
- Post-graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing
- Proven leadership skills: able to work autonomously, prioritise under pressure and direct a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer-care skills
