About This Role
We are seeking a seasoned senior doctor with defense experience and strong leadership skills to join our team. The Principal Clinical Lead will work closely with the General Manager Clinical Governance and the Leadership Team to deliver high-quality safe reliable care across ADF Health Services.
* Provide clinical oversight and guidance for the delivery of safe, high-quality care in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Represent Bupa at the highest level of clinical leadership within Bupa and with clients.
* Support the ADF Leadership Team with expert clinical advice on quality care and continuous improvement activities.
* Act as the nominated incident manager for clinical complaints and incidents.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical governance, quality, and risk management, as well as an in-depth understanding of the clinical and operational ADF environment. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for success in this role.
This is a critical leadership position that requires exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
* Extensive experience in clinical governance, quality, and risk management.
* An in-depth understanding of the clinical and operational ADF environment.
* Proven capability in leading clinical improvement initiatives and implementing new models of care.
* Strong knowledge of the Australian regulatory and compliance landscape for healthcare professionals.
You will also require:
* Previous experience within the clinical ADF environment (highly desirable).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain baseline security clearance.
