We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant Director in our Early Learning Centre.
About the Role
The Assistant Director will support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care. This involves mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team, using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide, and assisting in the overall management of the centre when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Centre Director to develop and implement strategies for improving the quality of care.
* Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Ensure the effective implementation of policies and procedures.
* Provide support during periods of absence from the Centre Director.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in leadership and mentoring roles within early learning and care settings.
* A strong understanding of practices and procedures that support high-quality care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
