Strategic Projects Leader Role
As a Strategic Projects Leader, you will spearhead key initiatives across forest health, community engagement, land development, and tourism from concept through delivery.
You will lead projects with integrated planning, environmental assessments, and stakeholder needs. You will represent the organization with government, industry, and community partners, provide policy advice, and support senior management when required.
Travel across New South Wales to connect directly with regions and communities your work supports.
* Tertiary qualifications in natural resource management, environmental science, or a related discipline.
* Solid knowledge of forest management, land use, or environmental assessment practices.
* Experience managing large, multi-stakeholder projects with internal teams and external partners.
* Creative flair and strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into engaging strategies and reports.
* Proven cultural awareness and experience engaging with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with government, regulators, industry, and communities.
* Ability to balance commercial, social, and environmental outcomes in a complex operating environment.
* Capacity and willingness to travel, manage multiple priorities, and maintain fitness as required.
