Salary: $56,000.00 – $63,000.00 per year

Position Overview:

We invite qualified candidates to join our esteemed Helpdesk team as a Level-1 Helpdesk Technician. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to challenging projects, enhance technical expertise, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our clients' IT environments. You will serve as an embedded engineer at our client's site, providing dedicated support tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

* Respond to and resolve customer support requests via phone, email, or in person.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
* Provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
* Assist with fault escalation and resolution following ITIL standards.
* Provide expert Microsoft 365 technical support and recommendations.
* Support the day-to-day operations of Windows environments, including commissioning/decommissioning, performance tuning, and responding to user requests.
* Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
* Evaluate, test, and implement solutions to address various technical challenges while ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and best practices.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to provision and maintain related system configurations.
* Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication skills.
* Recognize opportunities for system upgrades and propose innovative solutions.
* Create and update comprehensive written procedures and technical documentation.
* Promptly respond to service desk calls and provide effective resolutions.

Technical Requirements:

* Proven expertise in fault and problem diagnosis in a complex IT environment.
* Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Server, Windows, Outlook, SharePoint, DNS, IIS, system upgrades, performance tuning, and migration.
* Fundamental understanding of computer networking, IP networking, and routing.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
* Basic understanding of public and private cloud technologies.
* Flexible and team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
* Proactive approach, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
* Availability for out-of-hours work and willingness to travel to client sites in regional areas.

* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to undergo vaccinations as required for on-site work.
* Valid driver's license and access to a well-maintained vehicle.
* Ability to thrive in a small team environment and work autonomously.
* Strong organizational and task management skills.
* Exceptional time management and recording skills, maintaining high billable utilization.
