Occupational Therapist Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to consumers within the acute hospital setting.
* Contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
* Supervise junior staff, assistants, or students, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board.
* Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy.
* The ability to apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills in occupational therapy practice, particularly within an acute hospital setting.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
