About The Role
As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in an interdisciplinary team that prioritizes cultural awareness, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of our work. You will provide professional supervision, mentorship, and guidance to psychologists while collaborating closely with school communities, families, and key stakeholders to develop holistic and effective strategies.
This role is about more than just problem-solving—it's about leading with innovation, fostering a positive team culture, and embedding cultural responsiveness into student wellbeing initiatives. You will contribute to recruitment, retention, and professional development, ensuring our team upholds the highest standards of service delivery while continually growing in cultural competence
Qualifications
Essential: Current and full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia. Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
Desirable: Area of practice endorsement – educational and developmental psychology and/or clinical psychology and/or counselling psychology.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
* AHP3 $104,180 - $111,746 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%)
* A 20% salary loading may be available by negotiation for applicants willing to move to the region and being based in the Port Pirie or Kadina office.

Additional Note
Multiple vacancies available at Port Pirie and Kadina (1.5 FTE total). Of this, there is a 0.5FTE vacancy available on an ongoing basis, and a short term 1.0FTE contract until 24 February 2025.
Location is negotiable and flexible working arrangements including drive in, drive out arrangement may be negotiated with the successful applicant to meet business needs.
