Lendlease have an exciting career opportunity for a Principal Cost Planner/Estimator to join our WA Team and help us secure an exciting upcoming pipeline of work in the region and continue a strong period of growth for the business! In this role you will be an important contributor to Lendlease’s construction and development strategy, and lead cost planning and estimating outputs throughout the origination, conversion, and delivery phases of the project life cycle, as well as controlling project costs during the concept design, design development phase, through construction cost reporting to final cost analysis. We’d still love to hear from you! 15 years’ experience in the Building and Construction industry, with experience creating cost plans and estimates for large-scale construction projects, working for a main contractor and/or QS firm. Relevant University qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent. Exceptional technical skills in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities in line with industry and Quantity Surveying standards. Have strong local industry networks, knowledge of the NSW subcontractor market and willingness to engage with subcontractors and suppliers when working on tenders and projects. Experience driving high quality outcomes, ensuring timelines are met, and managing multiple stakeholders with competing demands. Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills. Proficiency in CostX, and Microsoft Excel.
