We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Brisbane Print Production team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and supporting colour and black-and-white print production equipment, as well as associated software and service solutions.
This role involves working within a team of dedicated technicians, reporting directly to the State Service Delivery Manager. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring customer satisfaction through on-site corrective and preventative maintenance of customer equipment.
* Providing technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders.
* Maintaining a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Technical expertise in high-volume production printing, digital presses, or similar equipment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of print workflows, colour quality, and finishing processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* A genuine commitment to continuous learning and technical development.
Essential requirements include:
* Technical field service experience, ideally with production printers, digital presses, or high-volume print systems.
* Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills.
* Solid understanding of network connectivity, print servers, and production print environments.
* Proven ability to perform in time-sensitive or high-pressure environments.
* Valid Driver's License, with a clean driving record.
* Ability to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check, and AGSVA Security Clearance (preferred).
* Flexibility to participate in an after-hours standby roster, including weekends as required.
* Willingness to travel interstate for product training and development.
* Current Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available).
* Availability for an in-person interview at our Brisbane office.
