Key Responsibilities:
• Define and own the QA strategy, roadmap and quality metrics
• Establish organisation-wide standards for test tooling and environments
• Drive continuous improvement of test process
• Writing custom scripts and automation tools to streamline testing
• Supporting the shift from legacy QA into modern automation-first engineering
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including test planning, test case design, automation, execution, and defect reporting.
• Generate test data required for test execution based on the test scenarios & cases identified.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Grafana k6).
• Aligning and executing the automation regression testing across various environments
• Assisting to support the release management process and healthy state of test environments.
• Learn and stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Test Automation or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer
• Strong scripting and automation skills – JavaScript/TypeScript, Phyton, C#
• Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright)
• Experience across different types of testing (functional, system, integration, regression etc)
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies such as Scrum
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of secure software design, testing methodologies and cybersecurity principles
• Strong organisational skills
