Position: DFSV Program Support Officer
Status:Fulltime fixed term position to 30/6/28
Hourly rate:$43.41-$47.13 per hour plus superannuation (depending on experience)

You will ensure the smooth operation of DFSV programs and remote safe houses in Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory. You will provide essential (mostly remote) administrative support and logistical coordination to facilitate the effective delivery of services to vulnerable individuals and families.

What you'll do
- Assist with grant and funding applications by compiling reports, documentation, and compliance records.
- Maintain confidential client and service records in accordance with privacy laws and One Tree policies and procedures.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of safe house staff by managing documentation and schedules.
- Other ad hoc administrative duties as required and deemed necessary of the position.
- When directed source quotes and coordinate minor office maintenance.
- At times, travel into communities to offer on the ground assistance with programs and/or events
*Selection criteria*
- Demonstrated high level administration and logistics support experience
- Satisfactory National Police Check (within last 6 months)
- Current NT WWCC
- Current 'C' class driver's licence
- Previous experience in administration, logistics or operations support, preferably in a community services or not-for-profit setting.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience working with Aboriginal communities and an understanding of cultural safety principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a diverse, geographically dispersed team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
