We’re looking for a Client Strategy Manager to join our team at News Corp Australia, playing a key role in developing innovative strategies that drive revenue growth and maintain our competitive edge in the market. This is a client-focused, fast-moving role that requires someone with strong commercial acumen, creativity, and the ability to turn ideas into effective campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with News Corp Australia’s sales teams to generate client revenue, leveraging assets from News Corp Australia’s vast portfolio that deliver clients’ marketing, campaign and business objectives and priorities
* Help create and facilitate client workshops to enable strategic conversations that uncover client marketing and business problems that News Corp Australia can help solve
* Develop strategic frameworks for a range of client categories, budgets and target audiences
* Support the senior strategy team to deliver go to market strategy, thought leadership and grow integrated revenue
* Develop strategic initiatives that address client needs, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client satisfaction.
Who are you?
* 2-5 years experience within the media, advertising, publishing or marketing industry
* Substantial experience in media strategy, planning and execution
* Knows how to build and nurture relationships internally and externally
* Ability to negotiate, problem-solve and overcome issues while maintaining a respectful approach
* Excellent communication and presentation skills and a keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives.
* Experience generating insights and using strategic thinking to create single minded ideas
* Experience in client and category business planning to support sales, as well as successful market pitching, with an understanding of what’s required to win client business
* A desire to influence others to take action with stories that excite, inspire or educate
* A want to create and innovate, learn and win
