Make a Difference : Administration Support Officer at SA Health

About the role
Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, this role is responsible for providing the full range of administrative support as specified in written procedures and guidelines. This includes responding to customer enquiries, data collection and data entry, purchasing and management of equipment and resources. The Administration Officer works as a member of a team that provides a professional, customer-focused service.
Duties for the role
* Responding appropriately and promptly to incoming calls in line with documented procedures and guidelines
* Working professionally and effectively with clinical and administration staff, as well as the broader Transition Services team
* Providing general administrative duties such as distributing incoming mail, taxis, coordinating office resources, and purchasing
* Always acting professionally when dealing with internal and external clients
* Providing prompt and courteous service to all clients, including colleagues, other divisions, and the community
* Providing administrative support to the Transition Services and Care Awaiting Placement (CAP) teams
About you
* Technical proficiency in My Aged Care, Sunrise EMR, and Microsoft Office
* Demonstrate an ability to communicate and maintain good working relations with all work colleagues
* Demonstrate an ability to work with limited direct supervision and to work with a flexible approach
* Experience in working in a complex multi-level team
* Experience of working within an Aged Care, Community Services, and Health setting
* Ability to establish and manage databases and / or spreadsheets using Excel and Access software
