Job Description


About the Role

As an OSHC Qualified Educator, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-aged children before and after school, and during vacation care. You'll build meaningful connections with children and families, support their individual needs, and contribute to a fun, nurturing space that encourages wellbeing, independence, and development.

In this role, you will:

* Build trusting relationships with children and their families
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support learning through play
* Support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of children
* Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth daily routines
* Promote inclusion, confidence, and resilience in all children
* Make a positive difference in children's lives, every single day

About you:

* Completed qualification in one of the following: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA
* Ability to actively contribute to the review and development of Children's Services policies and procedures
* Extensive experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), with strong working knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and The My Time, Our Place (MTOP) framework
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills
* Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written
* Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
* Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic
* Sound understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality
* Holds a current First Aid Certificate applicable to an education and care setting, including asthma and anaphylaxis management
