Sola One is a fast-paced, new, and growing architectural products manufacturer with a mindset of constant improvement .
We’re developing new products every month with our main focus being door systems, and this role sits at the centre of that evolution.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of 3 office staff and around 10 workshop staff, with strong future growth potential as the business expands.
This role is best suited to an experienced Autodesk Fusion user who can integrate quickly into a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute immediately to both product development and production efficiency.
Requirements
☐ Proficient in Autodesk Fusion
☐ Skilled in CNC toolpaths
☐ Ability to create and manage 3-axis manufacturing setups in Fusion
☐ Strong understanding of CAD and efficient workflows
☐ Basic understanding of building and construction concepts
☐ Ability to work and manage workloads during busy, fast-paced periods
☐ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
☐ Good communication with the team
☐ Bonus: Experience with ArchiCAD (role may evolve into ArchiCAD design tasks)
Day-to-Day Tasks
☐ Program CNC jobs — cabinetry, doors, and other components
☐ Produce accurate workshop drawings for manufacturing
☐ Produce drawings for customer approval
☐ Communicate with the workshop team regarding product requirements
☐ Update CAD files and documentation when changes are needed
☐ Assist in maintaining CAD libraries, templates, and machining setups
☐ Perform quality checks on drawings, toolpaths, and product files
☐ Optimise machining strategies for speed, consistency, and efficiency
