Overview

Stride is a mental health service provider offering integrated care for adults, young people, and families. The service supports recovery journeys through community mental health and wellbeing services, clinical care, and care coordination. The role is based in Caboolture, QLD, and is a permanent, full-time position.

Role Overview

Deliver high quality evidence based clinical care as a member of the multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for adults aged 18-64 years who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.

Responsibilities

- Conduct risk assessments, including assessment of suicide risk, violence/aggression and vulnerability; provide risk management in collaboration with the individual, their family/carers and other support systems with active engagement of appropriate referrals and treatment planning

Requirements

- Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist, OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker
- Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice, with demonstrated excellence in practical application in mental health and alcohol and drug use
- Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf, and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families, and stakeholders
- Experience using electronic client management systems and Microsoft Office
- Must be eligible to apply or currently hold a Blue Card
- Must hold or be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
