The role we are recruiting for
Reporting to the Head of Account Manager, the Account Manager will support and assist the internal and external partners in the management of projects, product development, manufacturing and delivery of finished goods in line with critical path timelines.
This is a customer-facing role reporting to our customers on all deliverables, problem solving challenges within each project as well as managing expectations on product limitations. You will have support from your category-specific production manager and research partners to work alongside you in achieving your project goals. A candidate with strong account and project management experience is critical, and background in Accessories and/or Apparel will be well suited.
Your duties will include
- Build and maintain solid client relationships through understanding their business needs and goals.
- Manage projects from launch to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, and communicating progress in a timely manner to our customers.
- Identify and promote new sourcing opportunities and category growth based on market trends and client needs.
- Align sourcing and manufacturing capabilities with client expectations, ensuring clarity on limitations and opportunities.
- Ensure all production, manufacturing and delivery timelines are maintained.
- Key negotiation and problem solving to achieve budgets and KPIs.
- Proactively handle and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure clear communication on project briefs and individual product requirements to all key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage order amendments and communicate all changes to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint) is a must.

The ideal candidate will have
- Extensive experience (4+ years) in Account Management
- Prior knowledge of project management and/or supply chain is highly desirable.
- A ‘Can Do’ attitude with a positively curious outlook.
- Superb organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with external stakeholders with a proactive and energetic nature.
- Previous experience in a the accessories or apparel industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage time effectively.
- An effective problem solver and negotiator.
