Job Title: Community Support Worker
Headstart supports individuals with acquired brain injury to become more independent in their lives and local community. We are seeking motivated professionals to join our team in supporting people to pursue activities of choice in the community and re-develop independent life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients with daily living tasks and activities of choice.
* Assist with accessing community resources and facilities.
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
* Collaborate with other professionals to achieve client goals.
Requirements:
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to consumer-driven services.
* Knowledge of community resources.
* Driver's license.
* Working with children check.
* Current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) worker check.
* Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
* Current first aid certification.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Full COVID-19 vaccination, including booster shot if eligible.
* Completion certificate for NDIS worker orientation module.
* Vocational qualification in disability or community services.
