North Tasmania has an exciting opportunity for an experienced CT Radiographer to step into a CT Lead role within one of our busy clinics, primarily St Vincents. This is a Full-Time position playing a key role in supporting clinical leadership, maintaining imaging excellence, and ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-focused CT services. Part-time will be considered on application. This will be a Monday – Friday with regular business hours between 8am and 6pm, working a 38hr week, with participation on the on-call roster.
Working closely with Radiologists, the Area Chief Radiographer and site leadership, you will lead by example while continuing to perform hands-on CT scanning across a diverse and interesting case mix.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day clinical leadership for the CT service
* Deliver high-quality CT imaging in line with I-MED protocols and standards
* Support, mentor, and develop CT radiography staff
* Promote a strong safety culture including radiation dose optimisation
* Assist with CT protocol review and optimisation with Radiologists
* Support workflow efficiency and positive patient experiences
* Participate in quality assurance, accreditation, and continuous improvement
* Contribute to on-call, after-hours, and weekend rosters as required
About You
* AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
* Strong CT experience with the ability to work independently
* Previous senior, leadership, or modality lead experience (desirable)
* Commitment to delivering patient-centred, high-quality care
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
