Fitter Welder (Water Manufacturing Environment)
Location: North Western suburbs Adelaide

Our team is dedicated to innovation and excellence, and we're currently seeking a skilled Fitter Welder to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for welding, fitting, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various materials, including steel and other alloys, to construct and repair components for water-related systems and equipment.
* Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and systems in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
* Carry out fitting and welding work on pipelines, tanks, valves, and associated water system components.
* Inspect and test fabricated parts for quality and compliance with required standards.
* Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools to ensure proper function and safety.
* Work closely with other trades and departments to ensure efficient workflow and completion of projects.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Fitter Welder, preferably within a water or industrial manufacturing environment.
* Strong proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
* Experience with the assembly and maintenance of mechanical systems and water-related equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Solid understanding of health and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
* Relevant welding and fabrication qualifications are desirable.
Desirable Attributes:
* Previous experience in a water treatment or water systems manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with pipefitting, mechanical assembly, or hydraulic systems.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
