Coops Drainage & Civil is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Foreman.
This is a \"hands on\" role, where you will work closely with the Construction Crew, Subcontractors and other Foreman. You will also be supported by experienced Project Managers and office staff members.
You'll be responsible for:
* Day-to-day running of a civil construction project (sewer, stormwater, water, roadworks, kerb & channel and bulk earthworks)
* Managing and supervising crews, subcontractors, plant and materials
* Keeping the program on track
* Conducting pre-starts, site inductions and maintaining strong safety standards
* Making sure a task (or job) is done right the first time
* This is a hands-on leadership role — we want someone who leads from the front and takes pride of their sites.
What we require from you:
* Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or Leading Hand
* Experience in Bulk earthworks, civils and roadworks
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans
* Ability to deliver projects to satisfactory outcomes.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Construction Industry Card (White / Blue)
* Current Driver Licence
* Various plant machinery tickets will be highly regarded
* Strong commitment to Quality, Safety & Environmental standards.
