As a Workday Engagement Manager in Kainos, you’ll: Manage the successful implementation of Workday solutions for customers by working closely with customer business teams and internal delivery teams to drive scope, definition, and delivery of solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable. Take accountability for the complete delivery lifecycle alongside sales and capability Solution Architects. Manage all aspects of your projects, which may include one large, complex project or multiple smaller projects. This includes project planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, commercial management, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Commercially managing the implementation of global Workday programs from pre-sales through implementation to handover to AMS (Application Management Services). Providing functional insight and thought leadership in domains such as HCM, Fins, Payroll, or relevant Workday capabilities. Leading and supporting blended teams of colleagues, clients, and partners to share knowledge and develop an integrated delivery ethic. Setting objectives, outputs, milestones, and timescales with clients, along with contract and commercial terms. Documenting requirements, business processes, application configurations, testing plans, and other artifacts to ensure shared understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer. Creating well-structured and accurate deliverables and presenting them to client steering groups to secure approval. Identifying and acting on opportunities to win additional business, including negotiations at a senior client level. Minimum (Essential) Requirements: Functional domain knowledge or account management experience with Human Capital Management, Financial Management, or Payroll applications and/or system implementation. Workday Project Management Certification. Excellent customer focus, with the ability to assess needs, build relationships, and manage expectations, including resolving escalations effectively. Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management with a proven record of delivering Customer Success. Strong commercial management, influencing, and negotiation skills. Proven track record of exceeding targets in a quota-driven role. Excellent business writing skills, including experience with business cases, requirement documentation, tenders, contracts, statements of work, and change requests. Ability to identify and act on opportunities for additional business. Capability to work under tight deadlines and make balanced decisions considering customer demands and commercial interests. Support operational functions to optimize the use of our consultant pool, balancing development needs and personal preferences. Desirable: Experience in developing and delivering products, offerings, and services that differentiate Kainos in the marketplace. Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
