We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Butcher Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Manage and lead a small team of butchers and apprentices
 * Ensure high standards in meat preparation, cutting, and presentation
 * Oversee stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
 * Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance)
 * Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
 * Assist in rostering, staff training, and performance management
 * Drive sales and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the butcher section
About You:
 * Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified butcher
 * Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
 * Strong knowledge of meat cuts, processing, and merchandising
 * Excellent leadership and communication skills
 * Reliable, punctual, and organised
 * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
