Account Receivable l Full Time l $43 pr hr
Opportunity:
You will play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely cash collection, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance and reporting requirements. This position requires strong administrative capability, confidence working with data, and clear communication skills.
About the Role:
* Perform full accounts receivable functions, including cash receipting, reconciliation of customer accounts, processing credit returns, and customer follow-up to secure payments
* Ensure accounts over 60 days represent less than 1% of each officer's ledger
* Maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) of 50 days or less for Australia
* Prevent losses associated with uncollectable customer accounts
* Accurately process bank transactions in line with customer remittance advice
* Communicate with customers as accounts fall overdue and establish payment plans
* Complete customer credit approvals in line with documented policies
* Review and update customer credit limits or close accounts based on risk
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of credit returns in accordance with delegated authorities
* Update insurance coverage to reflect approved credit limits
* Ensure all active accounts have current and valid credit applications
Experience:
* Well-developed administrative skills
* Experience in accounts receivable processing
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to interpret, create, and maintain documentation
* Ability to extract, analyse, and summarise data
* A professional and effective communication style when engaging with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
* Experience with ERP systems (desirable)

38 hours/week Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm
