Your new role: As a Clinical Nurse within the Cancer Care and Day Therapy Services, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to Oncology and Haematology patients with complex needs. Working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in coordinating care, supporting service delivery, and leading professional nursing practice. * Provide advanced clinical assessment, planning and coordination of care for Oncology and Haematology patients within the Cancer Day Therapy Unit and Day Therapy Unit * Lead and support clinic flow, specialist nursing care and continuity of service across both units during the transition to a combined facility * Deliver clinical leadership in professional practice, education, research and quality improvement, including delegated portfolio responsibilities * Support operational and people management activities, including supervision, mentoring and acting in the absence of senior nursing leadership as required About you: You are an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse who demonstrates advanced clinical capability, strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based cancer care. You thrive in complex clinical environments and are passionate about supporting patients, families and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes. * Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in Oncology, Haematology and/or Day Therapy nursing, including management of complex patient care * Proven ability to lead, support and mentor nursing staff, applying critical thinking, problem-solving and sound clinical judgement * Commitment to professional development, education, research and continuous quality improvement aligned with contemporary nursing practice * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and uphold organisational values and standards Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
