Barista Role
Sweet Tooth Pty Ltd is a business focused on crafting delicious treats and delivering exceptional service. We welcome an experienced Barista to elevate customer experience at our Stockland Greenhills location.
Job Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service; take and deliver orders accurately and promptly; address inquiries, offer product recommendations, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
* Operate coffee machines and equipment with precision; maintain a clean, organized workstation; ensure beverages are prepared to a high standard following company recipes and guidelines.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork; assist in training and mentoring junior staff to ensure they understand responsibilities and perform tasks effectively.
* Manage stock levels, restock shelves, monitor inventory, and place orders as needed; ensure products are displayed attractively and rotated for freshness.
* Perform regular cleaning to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment; keep all areas, including seating, clean and presentable.
* Assist in creating engaging content for social media, including photos and videos of products and customer interactions.
* Support the baking and decorating team during busy periods or when extra help is required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A passion for coffee, desserts, and creating a positive customer experience.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Ability to mentor and guide junior staff members.
