Competitive Hourly rates & overtime opportunities. We are looking for entry-level and experienced Trades Assistants to join our Heat Treatment Plant. All you need is a 'can do' attitude, willingness to learn and grow, and the maturity to use your initiative to pitch in and get the job done.
Responsibilities
We are seeking individuals who can:
* Use initiative and be proactive in assisting with tasks within your area
* Actively listen, clarify instructions, and follow directions
* Work collaboratively within a diverse workplace with mutual respect for everyone
* Learn and train in machinery equipment and processes within the Manufacturing Production Workshop
* Keep the work area clean, tidy, sanitised and hygienic
* Adhere to health, safety, environment and quality standards to ensure safety of yourself and others
* Contribute to automation growth or possess skills to grow with us
Requirements
* Valid Driver's Licence mandatory
* Forklift Licence is an advantage
* Willingness to learn, grow, and develop within a progressive company
* Ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a diversified environment
* Ability to perform physical activities with potential exposure to heat, dirt and noise
* Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and DAS
* Ability to show up on time each day
* Commitment to work and time management
* General computer knowledge is an advantage
