We are expanding our Gladstone team and are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our growing projects division. This role is ideal for a Structural Engineer with 3-6 years\' experience in the mining and resources sector who is eager to work on diverse, high‐impact projects and thrive within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
About The Role
As a Structural Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of engineering projects from concept through to execution. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide robust technical input and ensure effective project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to structural engineering design across all project phases, from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
* Possibility for site-based project support, within an EPCM or consultancy environment.
* Manage and review design documentation, drawings and deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients and internal teams to foster strong, collaborative relationships.
* Prepare and review technical documentation to support quality assurance processes.
* Coordinate activities across engineering disciplines based on project needs.
* Prepare tender documentation, including scopes of work, and assist in tender evaluations.
* Monitor schedules and expedite design deliverables to meet project timelines.
* Balance strong technical capabilities with effective consulting and communication skills.
* Apply proven experience gained through consultancy and/or site-based engineering roles.
About You
* 2-6 years\' structural engineering experience, ideally in consultancy working across the mining/resources sector.
* Demonstrated detailed design experience.
* Strong understanding of the design process and drawing management lifecycle.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively across disciplines and manage competing project priorities.
* A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
