Our long-standing, independent (non-franchise) long daycare service is seeking a Centre Manager/Lead Educator who leads with heart, purpose, and professionalism - someone who values connection as much as compliance, and who sees leadership as a way to nurture both people and practice.
At Mike Reynolds Early Childhood Centre, we are a not-for-profit, community-based service where children, families and educators are truly at the heart of everything we do.
Nestled close to Townsville's beautiful Strand and within walking distance of the city centre, our service enjoys a stunning location that reflects the relaxed, community feel we're so proud of.
We are licensed for 69 children and supported by a passionate team of around 25 educators and staff. Many of our team members have been with us long-term, creating a strong and supportive environment where relationships genuinely matter. Our dedicated parent committee works closely with the centre and is deeply committed to supporting both children and staff.
Children spend their days learning and exploring beneath our much-loved banyan tree, enjoying natural outdoor spaces, engaging play environments and meaningful connections with caring educators. It's a place where curiosity is encouraged, laughter is heard daily, and educators are valued for the important work they do.
If you're looking to join a community-focused service where you can build lasting relationships and truly make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
