ABOUT THE JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for reliable Hang-on Platform and Edge Protection Installers to support our residential scaffolding work around Brisbane and Gold Coast areas. This role is ideal for workers looking to specialise in height safety systems and façade access works. Ongoing work available for the right candidates.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a casual position working at various locations across Brisbane and Gold Coast. Average 8 hours per day with overtime and weekend work opportunities when available.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Install hang-on platforms in accordance with engineered designs
* Install and dismantle edge protection systems safely and efficiently
* Identify hazards, defects or safety concerns and report promptly
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project specifications
* Deliver equipment between sites/storage yard.
* Participate in toolbox talks and required training
* Follow all company policies and procedures
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
* Undertake all duties as directed by 2IC, Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager
ABOUT YOU
You Must Have:
* Current High Risk Work License (SB, SI or SA)
* Current Working at Heights
* Current White/Blue Card
* Valid MR/LR licence
* A strong commitment to working safety above all else
* An eye for detail and commitment to quality
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Team player with positive attitude
* Australian working rights
