About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our team at Ballarat Grammar, Wendouree. Catering is a key part of school life and we need someone who can provide high-quality food for students.
* Create delicious desserts and baked goods that meet the dietary needs of students
* Assist with daily food preparation and meal service to ensure everything runs smoothly
* Assemble salads, sandwiches, and cold dishes with care and consistency
* Provide warm, professional customer service to staff and students
* Support catering for school functions, events, and meetings
* Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards to prevent illness and maintain a clean environment
Key Responsibilities
* Cook and prepare food in accordance with recipes and menu plans
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation
* Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operation
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve common goals
