About the Role

Portfolio Analyst – Real Estate Funds Management

As a Portfolio Analyst within QIC's Real Estate Funds Management team, you will be dedicated exclusively to a single major client, giving you an exceptional level of visibility, access and influence across the real estate platform.

You'll work closely with teams in capital markets, development, performance reporting, valuations, strategy and investment management, giving you exposure well beyond a traditional analyst role.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

* Establish, own and maintain financial performance models at both fund and asset levels.

* Analyse and stress test portfolio metrics, scenarios and investment assumptions.

* Support proactive portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with investor risk/return objectives.

* Coordinate investor reporting in partnership with the Client Services team.

* Prepare high impact presentations, insights and materials for pitches and senior stakeholder meetings.

* Partner with teams in capital markets, investment management, development, finance, valuations and ESG to shape recommendations.

* Contribute to QIC's continuous improvement culture by enhancing models, reporting processes and systems.

To Succeed You Will Have…

* A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Property, Mathematics, IT or similar.

* Strong financial modelling skills (advanced Excel; Forbury is a plus).

* 3 + years experience in a similar role.

* A strong understanding of real estate fundamentals and economic drivers.

* The ability to communicate insights clearly — both written and verbal.

* High attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.

* The ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams and build strong internal relationships.

* Experience in real estate funds management, investment management, valuations, finance, investment banking or consulting.
