In this key position, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building long-term client relationships, and promoting our advanced steel truss solutions to builders, engineers, and construction professionals. You will work closely with our design and production teams to deliver tailored, high-performance structural solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, engineers, and architects.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and tenders.
Collaborate with internal design, estimating, and production teams to ensure project success.
Conduct client site visits and provide technical advice on steel truss systems.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Report on sales performance and pipeline activity to management.
About You
Proven experience in sales or business development within the construction, building materials, or steel manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of truss systems, framing, or structural steel is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to business growth.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans is an advantage.
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
