• Prioritizes guest contact and completes required table visits according to standards.
• Maintains departmental inventory levels at optimal status.
• Conducts line checks to ensure product preparation meets company standards.
• Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands.
• Maintains effective safety and security programs for the team.
• Promotes and leads organization, cleanliness, and sanitation within the restaurant environment.
• Reports routine maintenance needs to the General Manager/Area Director.
• Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates.
• Fosters Flynn | Applebee's training procedures for new managers.
• Helps maintain a trained staff through individual training sessions, employee meetings, and implementation of company policy and training systems.
• Participates in ongoing development of employees using One-on-One and performance documentation, contributing to written evaluations.
• Assesses employee efficiency, provides regular feedback, and works with employees on areas of development.
• Monitors acceptable employee performance and documents situations requiring or leading to disciplinary action.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Responsible for cost control in assigned departments.
